Gate City police arrested a man and woman on drug charges. Officer Scott Fink made a traffic stop on West Jackson Street. The driver, 21 year old Joseph Diets admitted to taking a Xanax about an hour before. 23 year old Gabrielle Sluss gave consent to search her purse. Police found Dilaudid. Inside of her bra was Suboxone and Xanax inside of a bottle. Both were arrested on Felony drug charges and taken to the Duffield Regional Jail. (jb)
