The Unicoi County Memorial Hospital Board of Control has agreed to allow Chairman Glenn Tilson to hire a lawyer to represent them. The hospital is in the middle of taking offers for acquisition. Mountain States Health Alliance was at one point the only company to come to the table. However, at last weeks meeting, Wellmont Health Systems told the board they would like to have some time to formulate a proposal of their own. (jb)
