A Thursday preliminary hearing in Washington County Sessions Court for 31 year old Steven Odell Bennett may prove to be interesting as he faces second-degree murder charges. He wrote the Johnson City Press and said his friend was killed by accident and he dumped her body off the Butler Bridge out of panic. Bennett’s letter told his version of the events on September 29th that led to the death of Vonda Berry Marshall Donaldson, saying her death occurred during sex. (bg)
