Police Conducting Survey
Johnson City police are conducting a survey to see how business owners view crime. It's part of Chief Mark Sirois plan to effectively distribute police services. The department is trying to get a two-year, 800 thousand dollar grant to target criminal activity and build safer neighborhoods. One of the goals is to identify what police tactics work in different parts of the city. Kingsport polcie are conducting a similar survey. (jb)
