Minor Injuries In The Hawkins County School Bus Accident
Another accident involving a school bus cause minor injuries to the driver of a van that hit the bus head on. The Hawkins County school bus had the driver and two students on board but none were injured. The accident involved a Chrysler Town and Country van, the bus and the very narrow and wet Caldwell Road just south of Surgoinsville. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the driver of the van came around a curve and slid into the path of the bus. No names were released and it has not been determining if any citations will be issued.
