Nuclear Fuel Services Award Big Contracts
Nuclear Fuel Services has been awarded two new contracts of over 100 million dollars from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office. Both contracts are for one year starting in 2013. One contract includes the manufacture and delivery of fuel and support activities for the U.S. Naval Propulsion Program. The other provides for the development of material for future Naval Reactors programs. They plan to convert uranium materials into useful fuel to generate electricity. (bg)
