The Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities distributed a record amount of money at their annual Night Of Smiles. The organization gave out checks totaling 712 thousand dollars to 87 area children's agencies. Feeding America Southwest Virginia was awarded the second annual Jeff Byrd Grant of 50 thousand dollars. They will use the money to hold a health fair over the next two years. (jb)
