Operation Street Sweeper investigated and targeted Methamphetamine traffickers to net 30-indictments from a Carter County Grand Jury. The Carter County Sheriff's department already has eighteen of the suspects in custody after deputies conducted early morning raids in Carter County starting at 11pm Wednesday night. Deputies discovered and seized active methamphetamine laboratories during the roundup and Carter County Sheriff Chris Mathes will review the operational details while at the new Carter County Detention Center this afternoon.
