Johnson City Christmas Parade Plans Changing
Things are changing with the Johnson City Christmas Parade. This year civic leaders will be experimenting with the parade route and the hours of the event. It will be a week from Saturday, December 8. The route will start the intersection of State of Franklin Road, Tennessee Street and University Parkway, proceed the Buffalo Street, take a left to E. Main St. follow E. Main St. again to the intersection of State of Franklin Road where the parade will wrap up. Planners say the parade should last about 90 min. from its 4 PM starting time Saturday afternoon, again that's December 8 in Johnson City.(CS)
