Young Sentenced To Life In Prison
A judge has sentenced a Buchanan County man to life in prison for First-Degree Murder. 62 year old Donald Young was found guilty earlier in the shooting death of Danny Paul Justus. He and Young were neighbors. Other neighbors testified they heard a gunshot and found Justus lying on the edge of the road. Young admitted to shooting Justus, but claims it was in self-defense. It took a jury only 30 minutes to convict him at his trial in July. Young was sentenced to an additional three years for using a fire arm in commission of murder. (jb)
