Hit List Found In Student's Locker
Bristol, Virginia police found a “hit list” inside of a student's locker at Virginia Middle School. School leaders found the list during a search of the locker. The student made a list of fellow students he would get “if he were diagnosed with cancer or a life threatening illness”. The student was suspended and his guardians took him to Highlands Community Services for a mental evaluation. The Commonwealth's Attorney's Office determined no crime had been committed. School system officials and the child's guardian will resolve the matter. (jb)
