Tractor-Trailer Destroyed In Gas Station Fire
Bristol, Virginia firefighters were called to the Valero Station at Exit 7 to put out a fire. A tractor-trailer hit a gas pump, catching it on fire. Even though it only took 15 minutes to put out the fire, the truck and the pump were destroyed. Due to the hazardous materials, crews worked to secure the drainage systems around the building. They were afraid the gas and other materials would get into the nearby creek. (jb)
