The University of Virginia Board of Visitors has scheduled a special meeting to elect a chancellor for the University of Virginia at Wise. The Friday meeting will be held on campus at the David J. Prior Convocation Center which is named after the college's seventh chancellor who died last February at the age 68 after serving as chancellor since 2006. No public comment is expected. (bg)
