Woman Fires Gun at Her Son
A disturbance call sent Sullivan County deputies to Brooklawn Drive in Kingsport. After responding, they arrested the homeowner for shooting at her son. The victim told officers he was at the home to get some of his belongings but his mother would not let him inside. He said his mother fired a shot at him as he was trying to leave. Officers then spoke with the suspect, Wilma Harrison who admitted to firing a shot through the kitchen wall to scare her son. After finding a bullet hole in the wall, Wilma Harrison was charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder. She was transported the Sullivan County Correctional Facility. She has since been released on a $50,000 bond.
