Greene Unemployment Rate Down
Greene County's unemployment rate has dropped for November. The county's unemployment rate was 8.7 percent, down from 10.4 percent in October. The county's rate one year ago was 10.1 percent. Unemployment for November across the state decreased in 91 counties. One county's unemployment rate increased and the rate remained the same in three counties. Tennessee's unemployment rate for November was 7.6 percent.(jb)
