Man Arrested For Shooting Two People
Johnson City police have arrested a man, accusing him of shooting two people in the parking lot of a church. 21 year old Cavonte James Bridwell is alleged to have shot 21 year old Bethany McClellan and a 17 year old male juvenile. McClellan and the juvenile were sitting in a white mini-van in the parking lot of the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ on South Broadway when a car with three black males approached and fired the shots. Bridwell has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of reckless endangerment. He is being held under a 70 thousand dollar bond. (jb)
