Officers with the Bristol Tennessee Police Department and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office located the missing 13 month old child that an AMBER Alert was issued for. Taylor James Smith was found at a residence off Hwy 394. He placed under arrest for Custodial Interference. The child was not harmed and was returned to his mother. Officers responded early Monday morning to a Holiday Drive address where a missing person was reported by Brittany Hanson the mother of 13 month old Dakota James Hanson Smith. The father had the child for the Christmas holidays and failed to return him on time. (bg)
