Qualifying Petition Deadline
If you're interested in running for public office in Kingsport, Bristol or Bluff City you have until February 21st to get your qualifying petition filed. All three cities will hold municipal elections on May 21st. Model City voters will elect a mayor and three at-large aldermen. Two seats on the city's Board of Education are up for grabs. Bristol, Tennessee voters will select three people for the city council and the board of education. Bluff City voters will elect a mayor and two aldermen. (jb)
