Boy Donates Savings To Fire Victims
Some positive news to start out the new year. A ten-year-old boy from Bristol, Virginia gave up his savings to a family in need. Damon Balough was saving money for his train set. He had around one-hundred-fifteen dollars saved. That is when Balough heard about a Kingsport family that lost everything in a fire. The youngster took his savings and donated it to the family instead of getting that train set. Balough says he thought that the family could use it more than he could and hopes the two children in the family got presents with the money. (cc)
