There's only one week left to apply to be the replacement for a retiring judge. Criminal Court Judge Lynn Brown has announced he will be retiring in March. Several people have called inquiring about the job, but no one has applied. Deadline to submit an application is next Friday at noon. Governor Bill Haslam will appoint Judge Brown's replacement. (jb)
