Norton, Virginia police are investigating what they believe to be a domestic homicide. Wise County officials say the bodies were discovered at a home on Powell River road on December 27th. They say 49-year-old Brenda Lynn Blackburn and her husband 50-year-old Michael Keith Blackburn were found dead. Both had been shot. Police say evidence indicates that Michael Blackburn shot his wife then took his own life. The couple was last heard from Christmas day so police are now trying to pinpoint exactly when the incident occurred. (CC)
