Gov Wants To Drop State Gas Tax
Virginia's governor is pushing to drop the state gasoline tax and replace it with a sales tax hike of less than a penny on the dollar. Gob. Bob McDonnel says that proposed swap is a key part of his $3.1-billion transportation funding plan he unveiled Tuesday as lawmakers open their 2013 session.
