Emergency Alert System Upgrades
Bristol, Tennessee and Kingsport will be getting upgrades to their emergency alert systems. Officials say that the systems are old and need to be upgraded. Bristol currently has five sirens, and are getting two new ones. Kingsport used to have two alert systems, but will end up with having five of them. Most of the Kingsport sirens will be located at different fire stations. (jb)
