DA Will Not Retry Former Sheriff
District Attorney General Tony Clark will not retry former Unicoi County Sheriff Kent Harris on a theft charge. Harris faced a jury of his peers twice. The theft over one thousand dollars was one of 10 felonies that a Unicoi County grand jury indicted Harris on. A hearing will be held January 29th to announce his decision and to set trial dates on the remaining counts against Harris. (jb)
