Judge Won't Block Gleason's Execution
A federal judge has refused to block next week's execution of Robert Gleason Junior. He was serving a life term for murder at Wallens Ridge Prison when he killed his cellmate. He strangled another inmate after being transferred to Red Onion State Prison in 2010. Gleason has repeatedly vowed to keep killing if he is not put to death. His former attorneys wanted to be reappointed to his case so they could try to block his execution. (jb)
