Two Men Denied Marriage License In Morristown
Raymie Wolfe and Matthew Griffin said they needed to ask for a marriage license even though they knew they couldn't get one. Hamblen County Clerk Linda Wilder told them Tennessee law prohibits issuing a license to same-sex couples. The effort was part of the "We Do" campaign where same-sex partners requested marriage licenses in the South.
