The forecast for the area includes rain through Thursday. This is not good news for many in the area since several roads in the area are closed due to high water. It is causing schedule changes for several school systems as well. Police are urging folks not to drive through high water. What could seem like a passable roadway could be hazardous. The water is also rising in Johnson City where downtown is prone to flooding in some areas. The water is rising but there is no indication that business owners should be worried just yet about another flood issue in the downtown area. (CC)
