Tax Benefit You Should Learn More About
An available benefit in the tax code that many people donít know about, could get you a nicer return. John Atkins partner and investment adviser with Integrity Capital Management says Retirement Savings Contribution Credit is better than a deduction, it's a credit. Atkins says youíre eligible if as a couple, you earned less than $57,500 in 2012 or will learn less than $59,000 in 2013. If youíre single, that income level is $28,700 2012. He says to search for Form 880 when you prepare your tax return.
