derby pie wars
They can usually be seen on skates battling it out in a derby bout but last night three members of Johnson City's Little City Roller Girls derby team went head to head with six men to see who could eat a whole large pizza first. The derby girls faced a rare lost at the contest but were glad to participate in Sunday night's pie wars three event to benefit Casa. Big Daddy Voodoo with LCRG was last night's master of ceremonies.. The pie wars event was put together by young professionals tri-cities. LCRG continues to give back to the community. Part of the money raised at all home bouts are donated to various charities. (CC)
