pizza event
Several tri-city businesses put their hat in the rings...or perhaps it's their pizza on the tables to see who is the best in the area. Pie wars three invaded downtown Johnson City Sunday to benefit CASA. CASA members advocate for children in the court system. The event sponsors a different children's based charity each year and is sponsored by Young Professionals Tri-cities according to event coordinator Samara Litvack. Pizza and Gyro won this years pizza competition, and received a trophy and this year's bragging rights. (CC)
