Hill Proposing SRO In All Schools
State Representative Matthew Hill says he is going to file legislation that would put police officers in every public school in Tennessee. The "Safe Schools Act of 2013" will be submitted later this week. If the bill is passed it would put at least one trained SRO in every public school in the state. The cost would be split 50/50 between the state and local governments that opt-in to the program. (jb)
