WA CO VA school superintendent
There is new leadership for the school system in Washington County, Virginia. The school system announced Dr. Brian Ratliff is taking the reigns as the new superintendent of schools. Dr. Ratliff currently serves in the same capacity in the Amherst County school district. He also serves as faculty for the University of Virginia and Lynchburg College. The school board says those community members that filled out a survey during the candidate search played a vital role in the process. Ratliff will begin his new position on July first. (CC)
