JC teachers won't have guns
Johnson City Schools may be weighing several options to increase securty measures. Hiring a school resource officer for every school would be their first choice to increse securty, but one option they have taken off the table completely. Debra Bentley school communication supervisor says they have no intention of having educators carrying guns into school... The school board will approach the city commission for funding and hope that state funds for security will be made available. (CC)
