Search For New Judge Continues
The search for a new judge in Washington County, Tennessee continues. Long time judge Lynn Brown is retiring. The field of applicants have been narrowed down to seven. Assistant District Attorney General Ken Baldwin has withdrawn his application. The Judicial Nominating Committee will begin interviewing the remaining candidates this morning. Once the interviews are finished, a list of the top three candidates will be forwarded to Governor Bill Haslam who will select the next judge. (jb)
