Homeowner Shoots Burglar
A Johnson City homeowner shot a would-be burglar in the leg and held him at bay until police could arrive. It happened at a home in north Johnson City around six o'clock last night. The homeowner called 9-1-1 to report the incident, and when police arrived on scene they found him holding a gun on the burglar. The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment, and later booked on Aggravated Burglary charges. (jb)
