Police Make Security Recommendations
Elizabethton police are advising residents of some basic preventative steps in order to keep from becoming a victim of crime. They recommend locking the doors of your vehicles, and to not leave valuable items in plain sight. Police recommend the installation of outside motions lights, and for you to be looking out for your neighbors. The department issued these recommendations because of a recent spike in burglaries and thefts. (jb)
