Man Fires Shot At Passing Train
Bristol, Virginia police are looking into an incident where someone fired a shot at a passing Norfolk Southern train. The train had just left the Bristol rail yard Thursday afternoon and was headed toward Roanoke. The locomotive crew noticed a man on the side of the track point a rifle and fire a shot. The bullet blew out a window of the locomotive. The train continued on, and crews called Norfolk Southern police. Bristol officers went to the location just off of Lee Highway and collected evidence.
