Sullivan County Sheriff’s Officers were called to a shooting on Bowman Creek Road where two brothers suffered gunshot wounds. David Baker had been taken to the hospital by a friend while Daniel Baker was transported to the hospital by EMS. Detectives arrived at the scene to investigate and discovered the shooting was the result of an argument and according to statements taken from witnesses Daniel Baker stood up and shot David Baker in the chest then shot himself in the head. David Baker was in stable condition at Holston Valley Hospital but Daniel Baker was pronounced dead at Bristol Regional Medical Center late Friday afternoon. (bg)
