New Bristol Hotel
A new $9 million hotel project has officially be approved by the Bristol Virginia City Council. An Abingdon developer will be getting $380,000 in economic incentives to build a Hilton Garden Hotel and Restaurant just off interstate Exit 7 adjacent to Cracker Barrel Restaurant. The proposed hotel would have 5 to 6 floors with about 100 guest rooms along the restaurant and lounge. Banquet areas and business meeting facilities will also be in the complex. Forty Jobs will be created. Bristol Mayor posted where Jim Steele says the hotel will generate millions of dollars into the local economy (Cs)
