Hawkins Sheriff Warning Of Scam
The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office is warning area residents of a scam that is making it's way through the region. Someone from an 867 area code calls telling people they have won prizes from Publishers Clearing House. They then refer you to another number where they tell you where to wire money to cover expenses associated with winning the prize. (jb)
