Model City Schools May Self-Insure Health Care
Kingsport City School leaders are thinking about going to a self-insured health insurance program. It's part of a way to increase benefits for employees and save the school system money. Superintendent Lyle Ailshie told the Board of Education that teachers would have to participate in a vote to make the change. (jb)
