Elizabethton golf money
The Elizabethton City Council has approved pumping and $160,000 into the Elizabethton City Golf Course to help them through a tight financial spot. The vote was 6 to 1 with Councilwoman Nancy Alsup opposing the financial infusion. Council member Bob Cable and Golf Course Board of Directors Vice Chairman Jeff Andrews assured City Council they would keep them informed of their plan of action to improve the golf course’s financial situation.
