The Johnson City Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash late last night in the 1000 block of Cherokee Road. 22-year old Chelsea Corrigan of Piney Flats was headed east when she lost control of her vehicle, drove into a drainage ditch and collided with an embankment. Corrigan was ejected from the vehicle upon striking the embankment and was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center where she is listed in critical, but stable condition. No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the incident but charges are pending with further investigation expected. (bg)
