An Elizabethton man is in jail in Johnson City. 31 year old James Melvin Brummitt is said to have gotten a vehicle title by fraud and then used that title to get a loan on the vehicle for 2,500 dollars. He is in the Washington County Detention Center under a 10 thousand dollar bond. Brummitt's arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday. (jb)
