Chase May Be Related To JC Robbery
Unicoi County police believe that a high-speed chase in their county may be related to a robbery in Johnson City. Sheriff Mike Hensley says that his officers observed a car fitting the description of the one used in the robbery of Little Caesars near mile marker 46 on the Interstate. Spike strips were deployed and the car stopped near Exit 40. Hensley tells us that a passenger in the car was wanted for murder in Hamilton County, Tennessee. Madison County, North Carolina authorities also have an interest in the case. (jb)
