Woman Arrested For Making False Rape Claim
A Stuart, Virginia woman has been arrested by Johnson City detectives for filing a false report. 19 year old Jenny Wright told police that she was sexually assaulted Sunday. She claimed that a man she knew wanted to have sex and she refused. Wright told cops that the man then slapped her in the face. She had no marks on her face to validate her claim. Other statements made by her were inconsistent. Arraignment for Wright is scheduled for today. (jb)
