A former Coeburn, Virginia police officer has pleaded guilty to sending sexually explicit messages to a 15 year old girl on Facebook. 28 year old Edward Shane Kiser will be sentenced May 3rd in Scott County Circuit Court. He was arrested by Virginia State Police in August 2012 after the girl's parents filed a complaint. Kiser is said to have met the girl while he was investigating a noise complaint at a gas station. He faces up to 10 years in prison. (jb)
