Sausage Recall
Smithfield packing company is recalling 38-thousand pounds of pork sausage. They say the meat could possible contain plastic, most likely from gloves. The recall of certain containers of Gwaltney brand mild pork sausage rolls by the Virginia Company comes after two reported consumer complaints. The recalled sausage has a date of January 11th and was distributed in several states including North Carolina. Smithfield says there have been no reported injuries and consumers with questions should feel free to call 877-933-4625. (CC)
