Wash Co Budget
Washington County Virginia’s Acting County Administrator Nadine Culberson has presented a budget for the coming fiscal year that is a decrease of 3.9% from this year's operational plan. Spending was recommended at $118.4 million. This year's budget was $123.3 million. If all budget requests are honored by the Board of Supervisors the budget for the coming year would soar to $125.3 million. A public hearing is set for March 7 on the spending plan. (cs)
