Frye Going To Jail In Anders Murder Case
A 22-year-old Kingsport man will be spending a year behind bars for his role in a 2009 Fort Henry Dr. running gun battle that claimed a life. Joshua Frye entered a guilty plea to facilitating voluntary manslaughter. He was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the drug deal gone bad. The chase ended near Kentucky Fried Chicken when Christopher Nunley used a deer rifle to kill Shawn Anders. Nunley is serving a 20 year prison sentence on an Alford plea. (jb)
